"My son went in to have his brakes done. First, they wanted to charge him extra labor for some "special tool" needed to take off his tires. Then they tracked grease into the car. $400+ later (must have used some super duper pads), he leaves. When I got home, I asked him to move his car, and that is when my wife and I heard a sound coming from one of the wheels. Nice! While trying to figure out which wheel it was coming from, we noticed there was a lug nut missing from one of the tires. Double nice!
My son was moving to Alabama that day, since this place isn't open on weekends, we had to make the risky assumption we'd be okay to drive. Figured the pad had just been adjusted too close to the rotor. Fortunately, my brother-in-law (in AL) works on cars, so he took a look at it and found a lovely washer (see pic) stuck between the pad and the rotor near the shroud.
Maybe they used it as a spacer and forgot to take it off? Maybe they didn't place the washer correctly and now there is a bolt not properly secured? Either way, it shows a level of carelessness not befitting $400 and free grease in the interior."

"I had an appointment for 11 AM, but did not receive my vehicle back until 5 PM, I do understand they were shorthanded, but for some reason I did not receive a call, explaining what was going on. Also, they gave me the wrong information and told me I needed two new front tires which I just replaced three weeks prior and was told by one of your reps three weeks prior that my back tires were good for a while more. I completely understand that things happen, so no hard feelings and thank you for your service."

"I went to get an alignment. I got call that I needed new tie rods, they told me the tie rods were stuck. It was, all in all, going to cost about two hours and over $800!?!?!!? No thank you! My man ordered the parts for less than $100 and the tie rods were in fact not stuck at all. My new ones were stiffer. Will not go back"
