"This isn't really a review it's more of a question that needs to be answered right away. I need a car towed out of where my grandma's yard so she doesn't lose her place to live and I can't afford to move it myself an I need it gone and I can't pay for it...,"

"This place has bailed me out more than once in an emergency. Yesterday I had just pulled my trailer out of the mud and by the time I got to the main road, heading home to Utah, I had no brakes and couldn't get the truck out of 4x4. I somehow made it to Ikes and Elwood was there, almost like he was waiting for me. He dropped everything he was doing (sorry for the delay on whoever's truck he was working on) and he went to work on my truck. As soon as I told him I had put chains on my truck, he knew right away what had happened; the chains had snapped the brake line. Elwood went to work to find me a new brake line but nobody in town had it. As luck would have it, Elwood has a wrecking yard behind the shop and he just happened to have that brake line. When he went to replace it he noticed that the chain had also ruined the caliper. He quickly replaced that too and wouldn't let me leave until it was complete. Just for fun, he also took the time to show my two teen-age boys what he was doing each step of the way and they got a free education. I had just jack-knifed my trailer into my truck, cut my brake like, destroyed my caliper, I was covered in mud and trying to get my family back to Utah. Elwood made all that bad stuff seem ok. He was quick, thorough, and fair.
A few years ago I just happened to be in the same area, on vacation, when the master cylinder went out on my clutch. I got to Ikes on Friday afternoon and, even though he's closed on the weekends, he had one of his guys come in on Sunday and fix the clutch so I could get back to Utah with my family. Sure, I paid a little extra, but he didn't have to do that.
Elwood's dad (Ike) opened this business in the 1950's and you don't get to stay in business that long unless you're doing something right, you're good at it, you love what you do, and you're fair. I love Ikes! Thanks Elwood and family!"

"Ikes did a used Engine Swap in our 1994 Ford Ranger PU after we blew up the one in it. We didn't expect much with a used Engine but they took great care in picking one they could stand behind. The Truck has never ran better since we bought it. Very Happy !! | Thanks a Million !!"
