SHARON K Google Review
"I've been coming here for 4 years now. The people who work here were very helpful in teaching me how to separate metal properly. I was very ignorant like most people. When they said something about dirty metal I originally thought they meant dirt, like most people. Dirty metal is actually anything with 2% of another metal on it. So if you bring in aluminum lawn chairs that you want to recycle they will not be considered clean aluminum if you have not taken out every nut and bolt that are iron. When you first arrive you must drive over the scale and stop right in front of the windows and be weighed. And the green light comes on you can drive on into the junkyard and unload your tin in the far yard short steel closer up. You are expected to be courteous to other drivers in the yard and give fully way to any of the business trucks that belong to the junkyard there that may be sorting or loading. Your are expected to unload your own vehicle. What are considered finer metals are taken down to the shop on the right as you enter loaded into a cart and you take it into the building or wait in line for your turn for it to be weighed and looked over by the people who work there."
