"Been going here for a while and today of all days one of the employees threatened to hit my truck with me and my kid in it and the owner stood there with a smirk on her face and said nothing and then she had the nerve to tell someone how to act. Not once did she address her employee for what he said. The whole situation was very unprofessional and it could’ve been handle better. All the commotion could’ve been avoided if the employee was addressed for the comment made to my husband. I feel threatened and unsafe for me and my daughter and my husband. We will not be back and I don’t recommend going because they don’t care about how they treat their customers."

"We showed up to scrap with a full trailer at 4:43. The gates were already closed. I asked the guy what time they close he said 4:45. So I looked up the time and show him 5pm. He got the lady from inside, by this time it was just turning 4:50. She told me they close at 4:50. I again reiterate that online says 5. She said she didn't have time to change it. Well maybe she can use the extra 17 minutes that she closes early and change the time on the website so customers aren't inconvenienced having to be turned away with the load full of scrap. Laziness really irritates me. Management should do something about this. Especially if they are still clocked in until 5pm. Soaking up company money and sending away customers. Thanks for nothing"

"We used this scrap yard because it was the closest Livingston. They are very impatient and rude.
Recently we took some weight there. Weight! As in I literally helped my boyfriend load a busted up dirt bike and a couple of other things. Our readout was 160 pounds. My boyfriend is very nonconfrontational so I took the receipt and money inside and explained that the dirt bike alone was well over 200 pounds close to 300 so how did we have a while truck load that weighed less than I do. Lol the guy looked on the computer and got our empty weight again... somehow the accidentally made about a 700 pound mistake? Now they did make it right, but I wonder how many people, that don't really know the scrap world, have not questioned it. I mean most would say that $60 didn't make much difference, but for people that do scrap honestly for a living it's a huge amount of money.
We tried out J&L which is a further dive and I was pleased with the way they ran their yard. It's organized and the people there are patient and friendly.
My best advice for USA would be to be more accurate and efficient and patient. And possibly find something for that lady to do that doesn't involve her interacting with humans."
