"Drivers come through town, an area where they know they aren’t allowed to be in per city rules and signs that are posted everywhere, dumping metal all over the roads as they go because their drivers don’t know how to secure their loads properly, and constantly creating hazardous and unsafe road conditions for regular drivers. If you attempt to talk to the business about getting reimbursed for a tire when what they dump all over the roads ends up in one of your tires and leaves it completely unfixable, they’ll fail to resolve the issue, giving you every excuse on why it’s not their fault even though it happened in front of their business. I tried to talk to the manager to resolve the issue and it went nowhere so here I am.
Friday evening, I was passing this same area as the picture of the truck. I didn’t see anything on the roads but heard it as it punctured my tire. The truck in the first picture pulled out of their business. Now I’m not saying this specific truck dropped it but I’m showing it to give an example of them coming through town when they aren’t allowed to. This piece of metal that I’m holding in the second picture was pulled out of my tire, sitting just shy of a foot long in size. Not only did this cost me money to replace my tire, but it cost me time from work as well due to me using my vehicle as my means for work. I’m now out several hundred dollars from being out of work as well as replacing the tire. Now I didn’t ask the business to reimburse me for my loss of wages, only what it cost me to fix their recklessness and they won’t do that. And if they think I’m going to just sit there and deal with this, they’re wrong. Dropping metal of this size all over the roads is highly dangerous and semi trucks coming through town is prohibited so I’ll be seeing them in court. Could’ve solved this issue easily but they chose the hard way."

"They are rude to everyone and act like you are wasting their time. It’s not our fault you hate your job. If you want to work with the public you should be a little kinder just saying."
