"Needed new battery. Awesome service. Good price. I’m a picky shopper and I’d go back here and recommend this place anytime !"

"Hi. I just wanted to take a few minutes to express my experience with the NAPA store on Oak Island, NC. It was not a pleasant one. First off, I only have one vehicle, and it's very important that I have transportation just like everyone else, but I was not taken seriously by the lady who was checking me out for a battery. It was her "I don't care" attitude and her choice of words that was the worst part of my experience. Before I get to that, I had to tell her twice what year my vehicle was, and she still gave me the wrong battery. She was not paying attention to me and what I needed. After she gave me the supposed right battery, her helper gave a wrench toolbox and handed me the battery. I proceeded to change the old battery, and when done I realized the new battery was much too big for my truck. She checked and did in fact not have the correct battery. She refunded my money, I had to put the old battery back in, fearing it would not have enough juice to get me to AutoZone, luckily It did. So, that really didn't bother me too much, but it was her attitude that struck me more so more than anything. I answered all of her questions, told her that I just need to get this done so I can get back to work, she then repeated what I said in a patronizing manner. She even said "what's wrong with these people" to her helper. What did she mean by that exactly? I was already stressed enough thinking that I might have a bigger issue, and with all the the things going on in my life I was hoping for some common courtesy and to be taken seriously. Instead, I became more stressed due to her actions. So overall I am not happy with the service. Thank you for taking the time to read this."
