"Leading up to my stop into this particular branch of Napa auto parts, I received verbal confirmation from TWO OTHER of the store’s branches assuring me there WAS NOT a problem to (potentially) return a part–if not the remedy to my vehicle issue.
Fast forward one week and I find myself here: Blackfoot, ID to return said car part in question. I also brought back my old starter in order to receive the refund for the core charge (this charge is standard so not a big deal). It was at this moment when I realized Just how obstinate and unwilling of an employee was sitting across the counter from me.
He proceeded to tell me he would not refund for the ignition switch (tbh I did not have receipt in hand) even though I had confirmation, otherwise. And when turning in the starter he tried prompting me for a debit/credit card to apply refund to. I respectfully said no and asked for cash. After all, that was the method of payment listed on my receipt. With a slight bit of attitude he begrudgingly rose up from the stool to walk three feet to the till to fetch my money.
I immediately sensed this nearly awkward situation and this would’ve been water under the bridge, so to speak, but find myself now writing ashitty review bc I then overheard him make a remark about just how strenuous and inconvenient it was to give out a cash refund. Not sure he was referencing me but I assume it was. Irregardless, very poor customer service. Period. Two stars is probably generous but I’ll let it be."

"Called to see if they had a part in stock, josh answered and seemed like he really didn’t care. Told him I need a part for my car and he quickly replied so we don’t stock that. So I asked him if anybody else had in stock and he quickly replied “doesn’t look like it” even though they had 30 until closing. This is the last time I try to go to Napa."
