"I have been to Leon's about 4 times in the past year and a half. I have had great success finding parts and Leon is great at pointing you in the right direction with his inventory list. He and I have had several good chats. I agree with his hours. He pretty much runs this yard all by himself. Its his life's work. He has to have down time to find other cars and get them in the yard and rearrange inventory. He most never takes a vacation cause he has no trusted backup to run his yard. I get up at 0530 on Saturday mornings to drive over two hrs to get in the yard by 0800 and out by 1200 respectfully. i am 51 years old and this is by far the best old school yard I have ever been to. I appreciate Leon for keeping it open.... This type of yard is a dying breed. Keep up the Great Work Leon! Don't let LKQ or one of those other modern day scavenger yards buy you out."

"Great place, been going since I was a kid. Lots of cars everywhere, his hours on weekdays are 8-10 to gain entry to the yard and closing at 3 I have never been able to see the entire yard in a day. Yes it's not like the modern junkyards, it's old school, been there for decades just like most of the cars. You have to get down and dirty and hack through bushes and tall grass and get stuck with a 1000 sticker bushes to get to what you want but there are some real gems. Leon himself has always been cool to talk to and very knowledgeable. Also the cats make for good company and tour guides. Will always continue to make the trip to such a great yard."

"This place is a gold mine. Within 5 minutes came across some cool rare trucks, Chevy big 10 and a dodge sno commander. Only could stay an hour and had to go. Leon is a good guy and I can’t imagine the cool gems that are hidden. Definitely coming back to explore more. Also came across a 64 studebaker zip van(old mail vehicle). Leon is the only person running things so that’s why there’s a 2 hour window to get in. He can’t be running up front constantly every time someone comes in. The cars are surprisingly organized and sections are marked and you get a map. Been there 60 years and it’s 100 acres, just imagine what’s out there."
