"I went to Laurel Street Recyclers on 8/31/23 to turn my scrap in. I weighed my material before I went and they were honest about the weight. It actually was a couple pounds heavier than what I weighed. They don't complain about like the other scrap yards do. Thank you for your service and honesty."

"You be the judge. I took four passenger car front rotors and four rear rotors. As well as two 5000 btu air conditioners. They told me that all weighed 37 lbs. I just wanted to leave my scrap there and go. The guy there said " don't do that you'll get enough maney to get the kids some ice cream cones" so i waited got a ticket went to cash out. I got i whopping $4.70 ice cream cones don't cost $1 anymore. All I'm saying is be honest about what you do and maybe you won't get of these negative reviews. And please don't email or answer this review with you sorry about my bad experience or anything like that. BE HONEST!!!"

"Not sure what all the hate is about, unless the scale's location has changed in the last couple of years, the read out on the scale is obvious. I wrote down what my truck weighed before and after I unloaded, it matched what was written on the receipt that I took to the cashier. I don't know why the appearance of a scrap yard's employees factors into these reviews at all. I got prompt and curt but courteous service."
