"Terrible customer service. Didn't have a per pound weight price on hand. so he asked how much weight I had, first off, the reason they have scales is to weigh the metals theirselves, so i told him idk the weight, he laughed and low balled me at $1.64 for clean copper! So he basically wants me to do the work for him and not pay me for it....."

"Seller beware. Went there yesterday to recycle some copper. No doubt in my mind they didn't pay me properly. I filled too large buckets full of copper and had a difficult time dragging them on the ground. Yet, when they were weighed, it came in at 128lbs...split between two buckets. I'm 248lbs. I can EASILY drag 64 lbs in a bucket. I was NEVER shown the actually weight. (Word to the wise, if you do go, STEP ON THE SCALE and weight yourself to see if it's accurate. Secondly, ask them to SHOW YOU THE WEIGHT.) And then, because there was a little bit of Ice and Water Shield residue/glue on the copper, they downgraded it too the lowest payout which is absolute bullshit. That would melt right off.
Needless to say, no question the weight was WRONG and no question the payout excuse was lame. I will not be back. Too bad for them considering I have a massive amount of copper from a large restoration project coming up...like THOUSANDS of pounds."
