Baytown Scrap Metal is the go-to spot for turning unwanted scrap metal into cash. The efficient and friendly staff make the experience seamless and easy. One satisfied customer, who had a large load of aluminum cans, appreciated the fairness of the transaction, even though there was a deduction to cover non-metal items. The customer, who had 37 years of experience in the steel industry, recognized the necessity of this deduction and commended the kind and polite service received from the staff. Despite some negative reviews, this customer recognized that Baytown Scrap Metal processes scrap, not fluff, and thus requires a deductible to cover non-metal materials. This happy customer plans to return as a regular customer due to their positive experience with Baytown Scrap Metal. For anyone looking to recycle scrap metal and earn some extra cash, this junkyard is definitely worth considering.

"The guys in the building will take and keep your copper for themselves. Then when confronted, they say you didn't have any. They have done this 3 times to me and it will never happen again."

"I had about 83 pounds of aluminum cans and decided it was time to turn them in. I collect trash and clean up the community, so I get lots of cans. The process was nothing but awesome. Yes, they did deduct a few pounds off of my load, but that is to cover any fluff cost. I retired from working at a steel mill for 37 years, so I do understand why they do that. The young man that helped me was very kind and polite. He also answered a few of my questions for my next visit. I see many negative reviews, but understand they process scrap and not the fluff that can come with it. They have to have a deductible in weight to cover the plastic and other materials that are not metal. Wil definitely be going back as a regular customer.????????"

"Will give you extension cord prices for your #2 or #1 copper. Be careful. Also has their scales tared to -2 pounds when weighing. Had to tell the guy to zero it out but he kept pretending he didn't know english. Don't waste your time here you won't get paid fairly."
