"For the first time it may be confusing if dropping off. There is a guard type structure that may or may not have someone in it. Either way this is with the way you go as they weigh you in and wear you out to get the weight of the product you’re dropping off they have a special drop off for the better metals like copper and stainless steel."

"Went here and staff was very friendly, they are very knowledgeable and willing to help if you have any questions. Mr. Ardie makes any question you may have into an excellent educational experience. Their prices are fair, and yard is very clean and well kept. The employees will unload for you making the process much easier. I highly recommend taking your scrap here!!!!"

"I only go to scrap yards every 5-6 months. The copper and brass is mainly byproducts from the day job. I've been going here for about a decade. Today was all new people besides the woman behind the glass. Tip for any scrappers. Only bring 2-3 different metals at a time and weigh everything before going. Also, verify prices and grades. As the pictures show, a Home Depot bucket weighs about 1.7 lbs, but 6lbs was removed and I had 55lbs of #2 copper in this bucket. The bucket was filled to the top and 17lbs? I guess they thought I was new at this. My problem was I didn't pay attention until I got the receipt because I have been here so many times before why not sit back and let them unload and get it done asap. As you can see I was paid for 17lbs. My brass bucket is always 100% clean brass because I know the difference in price and making check valves and hose bibs free of metal takes seconds so I always do that but was paid dirty brass which is 1.50 less if I went to the other scrap yard. It's too bad, Ardy wasn't there."
