"After going to CMC, dropping my steel, going back over the scale and pulling into area to take the non ferrous metals, I was welcomed with cones blocking my path. I explained that I was there before close. I had dropped my steel and just had a few buckets already separated to turn in. They wouldn’t allow me to do so. It was 4:02 and again I was already given entry to take the steel. I got my weight slip and money for the steel and looked up who was still open which led me to Abanti. The atmosphere was completely different. Everyone was pleasant and helpful even though I came in right before close. They educated me on some of my metal so I didn’t lose substantial money and took the metal that was 100% clean. They showed me how to check my copper and brass and advised me to separate it and come back so I don’t lose substantially. I will never return to CMC and Abanti has become my new yard."
