"You wanted me to tell you how my visit was at the wrecker shop well let's just say it was expensive. I wish I could open a business and have the money to do it cuz I would open up a wrecker company and I would put everybody else out of business because I'm honest I wouldn't take nothing from your vehiclle and I wouldn't charge a poor man a rich man's fee"

"Was told by company representatives that I wouldn't be charged for storage due to my circumstances. Owner charged me $150 to get my vehicle back, then left it across the street unattended with the key in the driver's seat."

"Due to a mix up in my finances my car was repossessed a week in a half ago by Tri-state. When they arrived to tow it nobody asked for the keys. Only asking if I was home which I wasnt. Part of the procedure to get it back was for me to take the keys to tri-state and retrieve my belongings. Upon arriving at tri-state to do this I found that they had already removed my belongings from my car and had them boxed up. Not thinking anything of it beings it's a locally owned business I left without checking the box. The next day I noticed a few things werent in the box that I was sure were in the car. Lint rollers, sunglasses etc. Nothing to make a huge stink about. Then after double checking the belongings I realized that my sons great great great great grandfathers fishing pole that had just been handed down to him was not to be seen. I was 110% positive it was in the trunk of my car when they took it. I immediately contacted Tri-state to inquire of it's where abouts. When describing the pole the lady at the other end sounded as if she knew what I was talking about. Yet replied saying she wasnt in the office but to give her an hour and she would check to see if maybe it had fallen out of the box and she would call me back. 5 hours later I still hadn't heard from her so I decided to stop there to see if she had found it. Low and behold when I walked in she had found it. Now normally I would have chalked it up to being an accident and believed it had fallen out of the box. But in this case with 3 pairs of sunglasses, 2 brand new lint rollers still in their package, a book on recovering after trauma, brand new highlighters still in their package, brand new gel pens still in their package along with my sons handed down antique fishing pole assures me that this was no accident!! The staff there is friendly enough and professional. But somebody there is a out and out right thief!! I guarantee you I will be spreading the word to the company I am buying my car from, my friends, family and anyone else who will listen. These people take advantage of an already unfortunate situation on another kicking them while they're down benefiting off their belongings. It's not only unprofessional. But disgustingly disappointing. They not only should be shut down for their wrong doings they do unto others. They should also be made to split profit with each and everyone they have stole from. Be fair warned my fellow man these people are thieves and will smile in your face while doing it!!!"
