"I love this place and the guys..breaks my heart I got to go somewhere else. 35cent price difference on copper. I will still go to Spartan recycling even if it's just a dime or a nickel difference but I couldn't take this I even called back and asked if they did price matches and they did not. So Mintz here I come..
Sorry guys"

"Edited, because Mr Siegel read my previous review, and sought me out, I have satisfied that Spartan cares about every aspect of its business, and strives to constantly become better.
7/19/2019 addition... Part of the conversation with Mr. Siegel had to do with the affect of negative reviews. Mr. Siegel indicated by his words and actions that he believed I was attempting to do harm to his business by leaving a bad review. Even after our conversation the problem of slow loading persisted. The harm had already been done. Not to his business but to the countless drivers and their companies who have to wait 4 hrs before they can get their paperwork and leave. The rest of the story is this.... My paperwork originally called for me to load baled aluminum. 40k+ pounds. What I ended up with was cast aluminum in boxes. 30k+ pounds. Normally this is grounds for rejecting the load and billing for a Truck Ordered Not Used. After discussions with my supervisor it was revealed this was a paid by mile load. No sweat. Mr. Siegel printed all the reviews he could find posted by me. There is only one reason for that, lawyers. I am retired. I live on a small income so I can spend time with my son. Mr. Siegel is correct, I don't have to haul his products. So, now the present issue, largely because of the conversation with Mr. Siegel I am no longer OTR. Meaning I no longer represent the company who owned the truck I was driving. Correct the issues Mr. Siegel. If you feel the need to involve your lawyer, so be it. I don't tolerate bullying. Everything in this post is factual. No slander there. A case against me is civil. So you are only able to go after my net worth. It isn't much. If business is that bad and the jury insists I'll give you what I have. I do feel you are sincere in being a good businessman. I will leave the star rating alone."
