"My 02 Road King had been in storage for about a year and a half- a lot longer than I anticipated… so it got in pretty bad shape. I took it in to get fixed up, especially the carb and fuel system. He had my bike for two weeks saying he was waiting on a part (saying he needed to replace the jets), charged me $500 for the work and sent me on my way. The bike was at least running, but was kind of choppy and the motor would sputter a bit/lose power. I attributed it to still having a small amount of the old gas left in it. But the problem persisted, so I decided to take it to Harley to see what the issue was… jets were still clogged and nothing new had been installed. Working theory now is the guy just increased the idle setting to keep it from dying at idle and ripped me off $500."
