"Best place on the south side to get parts!"

"I don't normally leave bad reviews, but Wow! That was unpleasant! Very clean store, but very rude clerks. I drove across town past several other auto parts stores specifically to go to O'Reilly because we've always shopped there. The check engine light on my mom's car had come on even after taking it in for repairs so I just wanted to find out what the code was. I arrived to an empty parking lot and no other customers. There were three men behind the counter: an older man (just sitting there), a younger guy, and a middle aged man (following around the younger guy). None of them acknowledge me standing there. I asked if someone could read my check engine light. No response. The older guy just looked at me, then the younger guy put down what he had in his hand, picked up something else and headed for the door without a response. The older guy finally said, "He's got you". After walking to my car and plugging in the device (without a word), he said, "Well, there's only one code that keeps coming up and I've never seen it before." I asked how we find out what it means and he told me I should take a picture of his screen and Google it. Then started to walk away. I asked about another item I wanted to buy and he told me they only had one. I had to run to follow him to the aisle he pointed it out and walked away as I tried to ask about it. I put it back on the shelf and walked out. Next time I'll stop at one of the more convenient stores. I won't be back."

"Broke the clasp on my windshield wiper today, thought I'd be in for a $60+ bill on new wipers even though mine were pretty new, Geoff helped me out with a new clasp (not sure if that's right right word, its the thing that holds the windshield wiper onto the arm) an ays he saved me a boat load. Didn't cost me a thing and he even put it on for me! Really made my day. Thank you again Geoff and O'Reilly's you guys are great!"
