"Peice of paper in the window in an obscure spot is the only thing that tell you that you need a michigan ID to scrap here. Walked in to talk to the guy before unloading and nobody said anything until after we unloaded and went to get paid. 3k lbs of steel and got nothing in return"

"To the people complaining "they're rude" or "they yelled at us", it's not their job to help you unload your scrap and when I'm waiting in line with people behind me while you take your sweet time, you have to understand why they would get angry. You're making their job more difficult and wasting mine and other customers time. There is an etiquette at scrap yards. If you have more than 1 person with you, have 1 person taking care of nonferrous metals, while the other takes care of ferrous. Don't dilly dally, it's rude to the rest of us! And grow some thicker skin! They've yelled at me before too...but only when I first started scrapping and didn't know what I was doing."
