"Monday, 4/20/2023.. arrived at 421pm.. rope already across entrance.. employee stated they were closed.. said the boss was gone with the money and they couldn't pay anyone. Had called earlier to ask what time they closed, just to make sure they would be there... was told to arrive before 430.. it wouldn't have taken 5 mins to throw the load off. Called another local scrap yard... they waited on us... yes, they stayed open to go out in country.. I won't waste my time again going to Dixie"

"These people are kind, but not very considerate of the folks that aren’t from around here or what about those that don’t have a Facebook?
I came in today with a huge load and was turned away because it was 4:26 and they are closed. The website and google say 5:00 pm.?!? Kind doesn’t put gas in the tank or food in our bellies. All I ask is they change times on their advertisement for us Yankee’s that don’t check Facebook constantly. Thanks"
